1. Overview
When you purchase a ReviewBoost package you are buying a time-sensitive, individually-fulfilled digital service. The work performed on your behalf involves real purchases placed on your listing through the marketplace's native payment flow: a buyer from our partner network pays, you deliver, and the resulting transaction and feedback become part of the marketplace's own record. Because each unit is a completed real-money transaction between you and a buyer — not a simulated or reversible action — the work cannot be undone once it has happened.
In plain English, the rule is simple:
- You can get a full refund for an order where we haven't yet started performing.
- You can get a pro-rata refund of the undelivered portion if, through our fault, we cannot complete the units you paid for.
- No refunds for any other reason, including change of mind, slow delivery that is still within our stated windows, perceived campaign effectiveness, your inability to confirm transactions on time, or your account being suspended by a third-party marketplace.
2. When we refund
2.1 Before you submit the listing URL (“awaiting_link” state)
If you have paid for an order but have not yet submitted the listing URL in your account dashboard — meaning performance of the Service has not begun — you may request a 100% refund at any time. Email refunds@reviewboost.app from the address on your account with your order ID.
2.2 If we fail to deliver what was ordered
If we are unable, through our own fault, to deliver the units in your package, we will refund the undelivered portion on a pro-rata basis. “Our own fault” means events within our reasonable control — for example, our buyer network becoming unavailable for an extended period, a sustained outage of our systems, or a bug that prevented us from completing fulfilment.
In all other circumstances the Service is treated as delivered as soon as a unit has been placed, regardless of the outcome on the marketplace side.
3. When we do NOT refund
To avoid any ambiguity, the following are not grounds for a refund (whole or partial) once the listing URL has been submitted:
- Change of mind. “I changed my mind” or “I don't want it anymore” are not grounds for a refund after performance has begun.
- Delivery pace. We publish typical delivery windows; they are indicative, not contractual deadlines. Delivery that is still progressing within or slightly beyond those windows is not a failure.
- Your delay in confirming transactions. Our Service requires you to confirm each incoming transaction on the marketplace. If you take hours or days to do so, that time is excluded from any delivery estimate; it is not a refundable delay.
- Marketplace enforcement against your account. If the marketplace suspends, bans, limits, or otherwise sanctions your account during or after delivery, we are not responsible and no refund is due. The risk of operating on a third-party marketplace rests entirely with you.
- Marketplace policy changes. Changes to the marketplace's rules, review-system mechanics, or interface are outside our control and do not trigger a refund.
- Loss or hiding of previously-delivered activity. Once a unit has been placed on your listing, it is treated as delivered. If the marketplace later removes, hides, filters, or otherwise reduces visibility of the activity, that is not a refundable event.
- Business outcome. We do not guarantee any specific business outcome from the Service (seller-ranking improvement, revenue, visibility, etc.). Dissatisfaction with results is not a refund trigger.
- Expired, incorrect, or invalid listing URL. You are responsible for the URL you submit. If the listing is removed, mispriced, in the wrong category, out of stock, or otherwise not configured per the submission rules, performance is still treated as attempted and no refund is due.
- Chargebacks. See section 7.
- Account termination for breach. If we terminate your account for breach of our Terms (e.g. multiple accounts, fraud, abuse), any undelivered portion is forfeited.
4. EU & UK consumers — right of withdrawal and immediate performance
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, you ordinarily have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract under Article 9 of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and regulation 29 of the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
However, the right of withdrawal does not apply to the following under Article 16 of the Directive and reg. 36/37 of the UK Regulations:
- Art. 16(a) — service contracts after the service has been fully performed, if performance began with your prior express consent and your acknowledgement that you lose the right of withdrawal once the contract has been fully performed; and
- Art. 16(m) — the supply of digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium, if performance began with your prior express consent and your acknowledgement that you lose your right of withdrawal.
When you submit your listing URL in the account dashboard, you tick a confirmation that states, in substance:
“I request that ReviewBoost begin providing the Service immediately. I understand and acknowledge that by making this request I expressly waive my 14-day right of withdrawal under the EU Consumer Rights Directive and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, and I will not be able to withdraw from this contract once performance has begun.”
This express consent and acknowledgement is a condition of submitting the listing URL. Until you submit it, performance has not begun and your right of withdrawal remains available under section 2.1 above.
Where immediate performance has not been requested — i.e. you paid but did not submit the URL — you may withdraw within 14 days of the order date by emailing refunds@reviewboost.app with your order ID. No reason is required.
Nothing in this policy limits any statutory right you have as a consumer under mandatory national consumer-protection law. Where those laws grant you a non-excludable remedy that is more generous than this policy, those laws prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.
5. Delivery evidence
For every order we keep a time-stamped internal record of each unit placed on your listing, including the identifier of the placement, the time it was dispatched, and the confirmation received back from the marketplace. Because each unit is a real purchase processed through the marketplace's own payment flow, the same transaction is also recorded on the marketplace's side; the two ledgers reconcile.
On request, we can share a summary of our record with you (we do not share buyer identifiers for data-protection reasons). This record is the Service's source of truth for whether a unit has been delivered. If you file a chargeback or dispute, we will submit it to the card network as evidence that the Service was performed as described.
6. How to request a refund
- Email refunds@reviewboost.app from the email address on your account.
- Include your order ID (visible on your account page) and a short description of why you are requesting a refund.
- We acknowledge within 2 working days and respond with a decision within 10 working days.
- Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method via Stripe. Depending on your bank, funds appear in 5–10 working days.
Approved refunds are issued in the currency of the original payment, for the original nominal amount. We do not compensate for exchange-rate movements between charge and refund, bank or card-issuer fees, or any other third-party costs.
7. Chargebacks
If you have an issue with an order, contact us at refunds@reviewboost.app before filing a dispute with your bank or card issuer. We would almost always rather solve the problem directly.
If you file a chargeback for an order whose units were delivered as described, we will contest it with full evidence including: the checkout session record, the time-stamped delivery log for each unit placed, your submission of the listing URL together with your express consent to immediate performance, and any support correspondence.
Fraudulent chargebacks are referred to the card network and may result in your account being permanently closed. Users who repeatedly file chargebacks instead of using this policy are suspended at our discretion.
